Goh Eng Boon or better known as Andre Goh was one of the singers of traditional song and dance to the rhythm of the non-Malays, who is famous and popular in Malaysia. Andre Goh is a descendant of the Malacca Baba and family practice Malay customs and culture. This also makes Andre so fluent in English. Andre Goh was born in the village of beehive, Tangkak, Johor. His father, Goh Tiam Leong also skilled dondang love singing. In fact, his mother, Wee Teck Neo poem skilled hand. Their home is often a gathering place for villagers to learn to sing the melody, love or natural dondang. Andre Goh was the sixth child of 15 siblings. He dabbled in the arts since grade school rendition of the song lag with Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley and The Shadows. He first joined the arts more seriously when served with the Telekom Malaysia in Brickfields, at the instigation of Michael Leong roommate who worked at the Department of Information. Andre joined Talent TV in 1972, and received much attention, although failing to emerge as champions. After the contest, he offered to run the TV program titled Andre of 20 episodes that aired every Sunday. In addition to TV programs, Andre also record the album (EP form) first in 1973 titled Night Mist. Frustrated album include Hope, Silent Ocean, Fatwa poet, Dreams (1976) and Eid Fitr Joint Artists Nostalgia Legend (1998).
